Overview
HBO LX-A-2 double pointer Shore Shore Durometer is produced according to the national standard GB/T531.1-2008 and JJG304-2003. It is mainly used to test the Hardness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products. It is a Shore Shore Durometer with tracking pointer and peak pointer double pointer on the dial. The hardness gauge can be used for handheld measurement of hardness of materials, and can also be purchased with the same type of load testing device rack to improve Stability.
Features
1. Adopt dual-pointer design, including tracking pointer and peak pointer
2. Handheld measurement, flexible operation
3. Can be used with load testing device rack to improve test Stability
4. Meet a number of national and international standards
Principle
LX-A-2 Dual pointer Shore Shore Durometer is pressed vertically into the surface of the specimen by pressing the pin, and the hardness of materials is measured according to the depth of pressing. A specific pressure is applied to the end of the pin, and the Hardness value is displayed through the pointer on the dial, where the peak pointer is used to indicate the final measurement result.
Applications
Vulcanized rubber, plastic products
Standards
GB/T531.1-2008、ISO7619-1:2004、JJG304-2003
Steps
1. Place the sample on a firm flat table, hold the hardness gauge, and keep the crimp at least 12mm away from the edge
2. Smooth press the pressure foot on the sample to avoid vibration, keep the pressure foot parallel to the surface of the sample, and press the pressure needle vertically
3. Apply sufficient force to bring the pressure foot into close contact with the specimen, and read at the specified time (3 seconds for vulcanized rubber or unknown type rubber, 15 seconds for hot Rubber & plastics)
4. Hardness measurement 5 times at different positions at least 6mm apart from the sample, taking the average value, subject to the value indicated by the peak pointer
Notice
• Avoid any vibration during measurement
• Keep the pressure foot parallel to the specimen surface
• The needle needs to be pressed vertically into the sample
Apply enough force to ensure close contact
• Different materials need to be read at the specified time
• Measurement points must be at least 6mm apart
• Multiple measurements are required to take the average
