Overview
The HBO Shore Shore Durometer LX-C-2 model is a sponge Shore Shore Durometer with a dual-pointer design, including a tracking pointer and a peak pointer, with the peak pointer as the Hardness value for measurement. This hardness gauge is specially used for the testing of low Hardness materials. It can measure foam, sponge, rubber microporous materials, etc. It is especially suitable for hardness testing of rubber microporous materials for shoes with pressures above 0.049MPa at a compression rate of 50%. The compression needle Travel range is 0-2.5 mm. Measurement range is 10-90Hc.
Features
1. LX-C-2 Sponge Shore Shore Durometer is a double Dial Shore Shore Durometer.
2, suitable for low Hardness hardness of materials value test.
3. Test bracket can be purchased separately to match the use, easy measurement and better Stability.
4. Comply with the HG/T2489-2007 standard.
Principle
The hardness gauge applies pressure to the surface of the material by means of a crimp, and records the Hardness value using a dual-pointer system (tracking pointer and peak pointer), where the peak pointer indicates the final measurement result. The crimp Travel range is 0-2.5 mm, the Measurement range is 10-90Hc, and the crimp end pressure is calculated according to the formula F = 550 + 75HC (mN).
Applications
Foam, sponge, rubber microporous material, rubber microporous material for shoes
Steps
1. Prepare the sample with a thickness of (10 +/- 0.5) mm, a width of not less than 30mm, and a length of not less than 60mm. When the thickness is less than 10mm, two pieces are allowed to be stacked, but the contact surface should be smooth and flat, and the total thickness should meet the regulations.
2. Ensure that the surface of the sample is flat and smooth without mechanical damage, scratches or impurities.
3. Use the hardness gauge for measurement and read the Hardness value of the peak pointer.
4. After the measurement is completed, put the hardness gauge into the instrument box and store it in the drying place.
Notice
- The surface of the sample should be flat and smooth, without mechanical damage, scratches and impurities, so as not to affect the accuracy of the test.
- The hardness gauge should be sent for inspection regularly, usually for one year.
- After use, put it in the instrument case and place it in the drying place to prevent moisture.
- Measurement range of 10Hc-90Hc is recommended, beyond which Miscellaneous test method is required.
