Overview
Hypertherm LX-D-2 plastic Shore Shore Durometer is a double-Dial D-type Shore Shore Durometer, which can be used for handheld testing or separate test bench. The product is used to determine the Hardness value of plastic products, vulcanized rubber, plastic test pieces and other products. It is designed and produced according to various international standards and national standards. Measurement range is 20-90HD.
Features
1. Dual pointer design, equipped with peak pointer and tracking pointer
2. Support handheld test and bench test in two ways
3. Measurement accuracy, small error range
4. Compact structure, light weight
5. Compliance with various international standards and national standards
Principle
The LX-D-2 plastic Shore Shore Durometer applies pressure to the specimen by pressing, and measures Hardness value according to the depth of pressing. When the plunger is pressed into the specimen, the peak pointer records the maximum Hardness value, the tracking pointer shows the current Hardness value, and the specific Hardness value is read by the dial.
Steps
1. Check whether the pointer points to zero in the free state. If there is an offset, the dial can be adjusted.
2. Turn the peak pointer and the return knob is close to the right of the tracking pointer
3. Place a standard gauge block on the datum
4. Handheld hardness gauge, the pressure needle is aligned with the center hole of the gauge block and pressed down
5. Read the Hardness value when the pressure foot is fully pressed with the gauge block and reference plane
6. Verify that the hardness gauge should be 10 +/- 0.5HD, otherwise it cannot be used
Notice
• The zero position of the pointer must be checked before use
• The dial can be adjusted when the pointer is slightly offset, and the peak pointer offset needs to be returned first
• The standard gauge block must be placed on the datum during the inspection of the zero position
• The indenter is easy to press into the reference plane under heavy load, which affects the accuracy of the reading
• It cannot be used when the hardness gauge shows that it is not within the range of 10 +/- 0.5HD
• Test plastic samples according to GB/T2918-1998 standard environment
