Overview
The Netherlands TQC sheen VF2088 No. 5 Ford viscosity cup is a portable viscosity measurement cup with aluminum alloy cup body and stainless steel filter, which has good corrosion resistance. Its outflow aperture is 5.8mm and is designed for the measurement of liquids in the 200-1200Cst viscosity range. The corresponding standard outflow time is 30-100 seconds.

Principle
Ford viscosity cup determines the viscosity of a certain volume of liquid by measuring the time it completely flows out of the specified aperture at the bottom of the cup under standard conditions. The outflow time is proportional to the kinematic viscosity of the liquid within a certain range. By comparing the standard or converting, the viscosity value of the measured liquid can be obtained.

Steps
1. Ensure that the Ford viscosity cup and the tested liquid are at the standard Ambient Temperature (25 +/- 0.2 ℃).
2. Plug the flow hole at the bottom of the cup with your finger and fill the cup with the liquid to be tested.
3. Remove your finger and start timing, recording the continuous flow of liquid from the flow hole until the flow stops for the first time.
4. According to the recorded outflow time, refer to the standard conversion table or formula to obtain the kinematic viscosity value of the liquid.
Notice
• Before use, make sure that the inside of the cup and the flow hole are clean and drying.
• Strictly control the environment and liquid temperature to 25 +/- 0.2 ° C during measurement to obtain accurate results.
• Avoid bubbles when injecting liquid, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy.
• This product is a precision measurement tool, please handle it with care to avoid bumping, especially the flow hole.
• After the measurement is completed, it should be cleaned and dried in time and kept properly.
