Overview
Ford-5 Ford viscosity cup is a Benchtop Ford viscosity cup designed by YONGLIDA brand according to the American ASTM D1200 standard, which is widely used in Europe, America and other countries. This model is specially used for laboratory viscosity measurement of coatings, paints, inks and other liquids, with specific outflow aperture and viscosity measurement range.
Features
1. Made of aluminum alloy cup body and stainless steel aperture to ensure durability and accuracy.
2. Provide five models to choose from, the Ford-5 model has an outflow aperture of 5.20mm and a viscosity measurement range of 200~ 1200cSt.
3. With a capacity of 100ml, it is suitable for standard laboratory operations.
Principle
Ford viscosity cup determines viscosity by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the standard aperture. For specific operation, fill the cup with the liquid to be tested, record the time for the liquid to completely flow out of the outflow hole, and convert it to a viscosity value (in cSt) according to the standard formula or comparison table.

Steps
1. Make sure the Ford viscosity cup is clean and drying.
2. Pour the liquid to be tested into the cup until it is full.
3. Start the Timer and record the time for the liquid to completely flow out of the outflow hole.
4. Calculate or query viscosity values according to standard ASTM D1200.
Notice
• Check the cup body and aperture for damage or blockage before use.
• The operating environment should be kept stable to avoid temperature fluctuations affecting the measurement results.
• Clean the cup body in time after measurement to prevent the residue from affecting the next use.
• This product has no certificate and is suitable for general laboratory use. It is not suitable for High Accuracy certification scenarios.
