The AMITTARI AC-110A Coating thickness gauge is a battery-powered Portable measuring instrument based on magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles. The instrument complies with international standards ISO2178, ISO2360 and national standards GB4956 and GB4957. It uses computer technology and nondestructive detection technology to accurately measure Coating thickness without damaging the subject.
1. F Probe can directly measure the thickness of the non-magnetically permeable cover layer on the surface of magnetically permeable materials (such as iron, nickel), such as paints, plastics, enamels, copper, aluminum, zinc, chromium, etc., suitable for platings, paints layer, enamel layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, Babbitt tile, phosphating layer, Paper thickness measurement and hull paints and underwater structural parts attachment measurement. 2. Nf Probe can measure the thickness of the insulating coating on non-magnetic conductive metal substrates (such as aluminum, copper, zinc, non-magnetic stainless steel), such as paints, plastics, rubber coatings, and the thickness of the anodic oxidation layer of aluminum or aluminum alloy materials. 3. Spring-guide sleeve Probes with wear-resistant hard metal probes, suitable for hard or rough surfaces, ensuring constant compression force and stable sampling values. 4. Measurement range, high resolution. 5. Automatic memory calibrated value, easy to use. 6. Integrated structure, small size and light weight. 7. Digital backlight display, ignoring the difference. 8. Optional RS232C software and cable to communicate with PC for data collection, processing, analysis and printing. 9. Equipped with automatic shutdown function, saving energy and electricity.
The AMITTARI AC-110A Coating thickness gauge is based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current for nondestructive testing. The F-type Probe uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the thickness of the non-magnetically permeable cover layer on the magnetically permeable material, and the Nf-type Probe uses the principle of eddy Current to measure the thickness of the insulating cover layer on the non-magnetically permeable metal substrate. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the Coating thickness value by pressing the surface of the measured object through the Probe.

1. Tap the power button to turn on the power supply, the instrument automatically enters the measurement state and restores the parameter settings before the last shutdown. 2. After confirming that the calibrate is correct, start the measurement. If there is any doubt about the calibrate, you need to re-calibrate. 3. The calibrated result is automatically stored, no need for the next boot, and the repeability calibrates. 4. Press the measurement Sensor onto the coating under test, and the display shows the Measured value. 5. When making the next measurement, lift the Sensor more than one centimeter and then press the repeability. 6. If necessary, use the plus or minus key to correct the Measured value. Probe must be lifted when correcting. 7. Tap the unit conversion button to switch mm and mil units; press the power button for about 9 seconds until "SC" is displayed and then press the ZERO button to switch the single or continuous Measurement mode. 8. After measurement, tap the power button to shut down manually, or wait for 50 seconds to shut down automatically.
- The reference block selection must be consistent with the Probe type, and the iron-based F Probe uses an iron reference block. - In order to reduce the material impact, it is recommended to use a measurement body without coating or a standard test block of the same material to calibrate. - Tap the power button to shut down after measurement, and apply grease to the measurement head contacts and reference blocks to prevent rust. - The instrument has an automatic shutdown function, which automatically shuts down without operation for about 50 seconds. - To prevent severe vibration and impact, wipe off oil stains after use and store them properly. - Strictly prohibit tapping or bumping Probes to avoid affecting performance. - Probe pressure on the measured body speed should not be too slow to avoid human measurement errors. - Measured value when correcting Probe must be filed, otherwise invalid.
