The BANTE A131-Cd is a precision laboratory ion meter with a 7-inch TFT display, 5 ion Measuring methods, and 13 optional parameters in the system menu. The meter is suitable for the measurement of Ion concentration and Water Hardness of liquids.

Principle
The ion meter detects Ion concentration in liquids by ion selective Electrode. Measurement principle of potentiometry is used to determine Ion concentration by measuring Electrode potential change. Measurement modes include direct reading, known addition, known subtraction, sample addition and sample subtraction.

Steps
1. Connect Ion Selective Electrode or Temperature Probe
2. Select Measurement mode (Ion Mode or Water Hardness Mode)
3. Perform 2 to 5 point calibrating
4. Measurement parameters (concentration units, temperature compensation, etc.)
5. Start measurement
6. Automatic data locking and storage
7. Transfer data via USB interface
