Overview
UK RK KHC.10.9 (No. 9) Applicator rod is a brown glue head wire-wound coating rod with a film thickness of 120 microns. This product is suitable for inks, plastics, Coating, plastics and other industries. It is used for wet-film of specific thickness of Spreader, and can perform film hiding power, color, drying, adhesion and other performance tests.
Features
1. Using wire-wound production process, precise control of wet film thickness through different diameter steel wires
2. The film thickness is 120 microns, suitable for specific application needs
3. Made of stainless steel, durable and easy to clean
4. Brown rubber head design for comfortable holding experience
5. Compatible with manual Spreader and Coater automatic coating method
Principle
The RK wire-wound coating rod inherits the traditional Mayer Rod Spreader principle, and controls the preparatory wet film thickness by wrapping different diameter wires on the rod body. As the coating rod moves on the surface of the substrate, the wire gap determines the thickness of the Spreader material, resulting in accurate wet-film Spreader.
Applications
Inks, Plastics, Coatings, Plastics
Steps
1. Spreader materials and substrates
2. Spreader material evenly applied to the surface of the substrate
3. Handheld coating rod or fixed with Coater, move smoothly along the surface of the substrate
4. After Spreader is completed, film performance testing can be carried out as needed
Notice
• Ensure that the coating rod is clean and free of contamination before use
• Stable and uniform traverse speed during Spreader
• Select the appropriate Spreader conditions according to the detection requirements
• Clean the coating rod in time after use to prevent material curing
• Store properly to avoid bumping and damaging the steel wire structure
