Overview
The Defelsko PRBF-D Thickness Gauge Probe is a removable built-in Probe designed for PosiTector thickness gauges for nonconductive Coating thickness measurement on ferrous substrates (steel and cast iron). The Probe uses magnetic Induction principle, Measurement range 0~ 1500 μm, High Accuracy and Ease of Use, Suitable for one-handed operation.

Principle
The PRBF-D Thickness Gauge Probe works based on the principle of magnetic Induction. When the Probe touches the nonconductive coating on the iron substrate, the Coating thickness is calculated by detecting the change of the magnetic field. The built-in Sensor of the Probe transmits the signal to the PosiTector host for processing and display.

Steps
1. Install the PRBF-D Probe on the PosiTector host
2. Turn on the host power and select the corresponding Measurement mode
3. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested
4. Read the thickness value after stable contact
5. Record or save measurement results
Notice
* Ensure Probe is in vertical contact with the coating surface for accurate readings
* Avoid use in extreme temperatures or humid environments
* Regularly calibrate Probes to maintain accuracy
* For ferrous substrates only, non-ferrous substrates require Miscellaneous Probe
* Clean Probe surface after use to prevent dirt from affecting measurement
