Overview
JINGKELIAN QGZ-24 automatic film Drying time Recorder is a new type of instrument for automatic continuous measurement of the time required for each stage of the coating film drying process. The instrument visually displays and analyzes the whole process from film formation to through drying by drawing a circular trajectory on the film. The scribe can draw a circular trajectory with a diameter of 100mm, and is equipped with four sizes of scribing needles with an end diameter of 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5mm.
Features
1. Automatic continuous measurement: It can automatically and continuously display the various stages of the whole process of film drying in the form of depicting a circular trajectory.
2. Multi-specification scribing needles: Equipped with four different end diameters (0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5mm) to adapt to different testing requirements.
3. Visual analysis: By observing the process of scratch from wide to narrow, from deep to shallow until it disappears, the time required for each drying stage is intuitively analyzed.
4. A variety of rotational speeds are available: the rotating arm provides three uniform rotation speeds: one week/6 hours, one week/12 hours, and one week/24 hours.
5. Clear structure: The instrument is composed of switches, outer covers, legs, connecting shafts, rotating arms, scribing needles, and other components, providing clear operation.
Principle
The instrument is placed on the prepared film test board. After the power is turned on, the synchronous motor drives the rotating arm equipped with the scribe needle (the rotating arm is in a free falling state) to rotate at a constant speed through the connecting shaft. The scribe needle draws a circular track with a diameter of 100mm on the film. As time goes by, the film gradually dries, and its physical state changes, resulting in the width and depth of the plow mark left by the scribe needle on the film gradually narrowing and shallowening, until finally the mark cannot be drawn. By observing and recording this change process, the whole process of film drying and the time of each stage can be displayed.
Applications
Determination of coating film drying time
Steps
1. Prepare the test plate: Glass plate (200 * 200 * 2~ 3mm), smooth tinplate (200 * 200 * 0.2~ 0.3mm) or agreed Miscellaneous test plate material.
2. Preparative film: paint the test plate according to relevant standards (such as GB1727-79).
3. Environment settings: Place the coated test plate horizontally in the test environment, away from airflow and direct sunlight. Recommended environmental conditions are 25 +/- 1 ° C, relative humidity 65 +/- 5%, or according to Miscellaneous agreed conditions.
4. Place the instrument: Place the QGZ-24 film Drying time Recorder on the prepared film test board.
5. Start the test: turn on the power supply and start the synchronous motor. The instrument arm will drive the needle to rotate at a constant speed at a set speed (one week/6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours) to draw a circular track on the film.
6. Observation record: Observe the evolution of scratch over time and record the time required for each drying stage.
Notice
• The test plate needs to be flat, the size is recommended to be 200 * 200mm, and the Film thickness is between 0.2~ 3mm.
• The test environment should be strictly controlled to avoid airflow and direct sunlight, and the recommended temperature and humidity conditions are 25 +/- 1 ° C and 65 +/- 5%.
• Instrument measurement error is +/- 0.5%, please pay attention when using.
The input voltage is AC220V/50HZ, please ensure that the power supply matches.
• Please ensure that the rotating arm is in a free falling state when operating.
• Test results need to be judged based on scratch changes and should be carefully observed.
