Overview
The Defelsko PRBFT-D is a 6000 FT Integral Probe for the measurement of nonconductive Coating thickness on ferrous substrates using the magnetic Induction Measurement principle. The Probe has a removable built-in design for easy one-handed operation. Measurement range is 0~ 6000 μm, accuracy is +/- 1%, resolution is 0.1 μm, and it is suitable for PosiTector host.
Features
1. Removable built-in Probe design for easy maintenance and replacement
2. Suitable for one-handed operation, improving the convenience of use
3. Adopt magnetic Induction principle to ensure measurement accuracy
4. Measurement range, covering 0~ 6000μm
5. High resolution up to 0.1μm, suitable for fine measurement
6. Provide calibrated certificate to ensure measurement Reliability
7. Suitable for PosiTector series host, strong compatibility
Principle
The Probe works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and measures the thickness of nonconductive coatings by detecting the Magnetic flux change between the Probe and the ferrous substrate. When the Probe contacts the coating surface, the magnetic Induction signal changes with the Coating thickness, and the instrument calculates and displays the thickness value based on this. The accuracy is determined by the fixed value and the reading percentage.
Applications
Industrial coating measurement, metal surface preparation, quality control, anti-corrosion coating testing
Standards
Provide calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the PosiTector host
2. Turn on the host power and select the corresponding Measurement mode
3. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested
4. Read the thickness value after stabilization
5. Clean Probes After Use and Store Properly
Notice
• Ensure that the Probe is firmly connected to the host
• Probe vertical and stable during measurement
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
Periodically calibrated to maintain accuracy
• Probe clean surfaces to prevent contamination impact measurement
