Overview
The Defelsko PRBFTS-D is a thickness gauge Probe with magnetic Induction Measurement principle for the PosiTector host. The Probe Measurement range is 0~ 6000 μm, with High Accuracy and Removable Design, supports one-handed operation.

Principle
The Probe works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and measures Coating thickness by detecting changes in the magnetic field. When the Probe contacts the surface of the coating, the magnetic field changes due to the influence of the substrate, and the instrument calculates the Coating thickness based on this. The accuracy is determined by a combination of a fixed value and a reading percentage.

Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the PosiTector host.
2. Turn on the host power supply and select the corresponding Probe model.
3. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested.
4. Read and record measurement results.
5. Clean Probes after use and store them properly.
Notice
• Ensure that the Probe is compatible with the host and only adapts to the PosiTector series.
• Keep Probe vertical during measurement to avoid tilting affecting accuracy.
• Regularly calibrate Probe, refer to calibrate certificate.
• Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent damage.
• Use in a suitable environment to avoid extreme temperatures or Humidity.
