Overview
Defelsko PRBFTRS-D is a thickness gauge Probe, a PosiTector series accessory, using the principle of magnetic Induction, suitable for nonconductive Coating thickness measurement on iron substrates. The Probe has a removable built-in design, supports one-hand operation, Measurement range 0~ 6000 μm, accuracy is +/- 1%, and is suitable for PosiTector host.

Principle
The Probe works based on the principle of magnetic Induction, and calculates the Coating thickness by detecting the influence of nonconductive coatings on iron substrates on magnetic fields. The Probe is connected to the PosiTector host to automatically process signals and display measurement results.

Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the PosiTector host
2. Turn on the host power
3. Place the Probe vertically on the tested surface
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. Turn off the power after use and store it properly

• Ensure that the Probe is compatible with the host and adapts to the PosiTector model
• Keep Probe vertical during measurement to avoid tilt affecting accuracy
• Probe abrasion checked regularly and replaced if necessary
Avoid high temperatures and humid environments when storing
