Overview
The Defelsko PRBNRS-D is a thickness gauge Probe for PosiTector mainframes using the eddy Current Measurement principle. Measurement range is 0 to 1500 μm, error range is +/- 1%, and resolution is 0.1 μm. The Probe is a split 90 ° conventional Probe designed for measurement in low headroom areas, waterproof and suitable for underwater measurement.
Features
1. Using eddy Current Measurement principle, high accuracy, resolution of 0.1μm.
2. split design, Probe removable, easy to maintain and replace.
3.90 ° Right Angle Probe for low headroom area measurements.
4. Waterproof sealing design, suitable for underwater applications.
5. Compatible with PosiTector host, easy to operate.
Principle
The Probe works based on the eddy Current principle. When the Probe is close to a non-ferrous metal substrate, an eddy current effect is generated. Coating thickness is calculated by measuring eddy current changes. Accuracy consists of a fixed value and a reading percentage to ensure measurement accuracy.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement, industrial inspection, quality control, underwater measurement, low headroom area inspection
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the PosiTector host.
2. Turn on the power supply of the host to ensure that the Probe is correctly identified.
3. Place the Probe vertically on the tested surface.
4. Read the thickness value on the display screen.
5. Clean the Probe after use and disconnect it.
Notice
• Ensure that the Probe is in vertical contact with the measured surface to obtain accurate readings.
• Avoid using Probe in extreme temperatures or corrosion environments.
• Regularly calibrate Probes to maintain Measurement accuracy.
• Probe cleaned immediately after use to prevent dirt accumulation from affecting performance.
• Use only with compatible PosiTector hosts.
