Overview
The Defelsko PRBN45S-D is a thickness gauge Probe, model 6000 N45S Cabled Probe, using the eddy Current Measurement principle for nonconductive Coating thickness measurement on non-ferrous metal substrates. High Accuracy and resolution, the Probe is designed for measurement of small parts, hard-to-reach areas or near edges, and fits the PosiTector host.
Features
1. Adopt eddy Current Measurement principle, suitable for non-ferrous metal substrate.
2. Measurement range 0~ 625μm, resolution 0.1μm.
3.45 ° Miniature Probe design for easy measurement of small parts and hard-to-reach areas.
4. Provide calibrated certificate to ensure measurement accuracy.
5. Adapt to PosiTector series host.
Principle
The Probe works based on the eddy Current principle, generating an alternating magnetic field through the Probe. When approaching a non-ferrous metal substrate, the eddy current is induced in the substrate to measure the thickness of the nonconductive coating. The Probe aligns the measurement surface with constant pressure to ensure stable and reliable readings.
Applications
Small part measurement, hard-to-reach area measurement, near-edge measurement, non-ferrous metal substrate Coating thickness detection
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to a compatible PosiTector host.
2. Turn on the power supply of the host to ensure that the Probe is correctly identified.
3. Align the Probe at a 45 ° angle to the coating surface on a non-ferrous metal substrate.
4. Apply constant pressure to keep the Probe stable.
5. Read the thickness value displayed by the host and record the measurement result.
6. Close the host after use and store the Probe properly.
Notice
• Only suitable for non-ferrous metal substrates such as aluminum, copper, titanium, etc.
• Ensure that the Probe is in stable contact with the surface during measurement and avoids tilting or moving.
• Probe abrasion is checked regularly and calibrated if necessary.
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or humid environments to prevent damage.
• Confirm host compatibility before use to avoid errors caused by mismatches.
