Overview
The PRBN90S-D is a thickness gauge Probe from the Defelsko brand, model 6000 N90S Cabled Probe. It is a split 90 ° miniature Probe for non-ferrous metal substrates (e.g. aluminum, copper, titanium, etc.), Measurement range 0 to 25 mils (0 to 625 μm), High Accuracy and minimum measurement tip for measurement of small parts, hard-to-reach areas or close to edges.
Features
1. Removable built-in Probe design; 2. Suitable for one-handed operation; 3. Split 90 ° miniature Probe, suitable for low headroom area; 4. Minimum measurement tip, providing good film Measurement accuracy; 5. High accuracy, error range of +/- 1%; 6. Resolution up to 0.1 μm; 7. Adapted to PosiTector host; 8. Including calibrate certificate.
Principle
The Probe uses the eddy Current Measurement principle to generate an electromagnetic field through the Probe for the measurement of nonconductive Coating thickness on a nonferrous metal substrate. Accuracy is calculated from a fixed value plus a percentage of the reading to ensure measurement accuracy.
Applications
Small part measurement, hard-to-reach area measurement, near-edge measurement, non-ferrous metal substrate Coating thickness detection
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the PosiTector host; 2. Ensure that the Probe is in vertical contact with the measurement surface; 3. Start the device for measurement; 4. Read and record thickness data; 5. Calibrate as needed.
Notice
• Ensure the Probe is in proper contact with the measurement surface; • Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments; • Periodically calibrate to maintain accuracy; • Only fit the designated PosiTector host; • Take care to avoid damage to the Probe when using.
