Overview
The Defelsko PRBFN-D Thickness Gauge Probe is a removable built-in Probe for the PosiTector host. The Probe uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles to automatically identify ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. Measurement range covers 0 to 1500 μm. High Accuracy and ease of operation.

Principle
The Probe works based on the principles of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. Coating thickness measurement on ferrous substrates is used for magnetic Induction, while eddy Current is used for non-ferrous metal substrates. The Probe automatically recognizes the substrate type without manual switching for fast and accurate thickness measurement.

Steps
1. Install the Probe on the PosiTector host
2. Turn on the host power
3. Place the Probe vertically on the tested surface
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. Probe stored properly after use
