Overview
Powder Tapped Density Meter HY-100 (B) is a HYLOLOGY brand product for the determination of powder Tapped Density. Powder density refers to the mass corresponding to the unit volume of powder, which is usually lower than the true density of the substance due to the existence of voids between or inside the particles. Tapped Density is the density of the powder after being vibrated in a container under specified conditions. The instrument is developed according to the national standard GB/T 5162-2006/ISO3953:1993 and has independent intellectual property rights, covering various indicators of the standard.
Features
1. It is composed of adjustable-speed motors, vibration components, microcomputers, and micro-printers.
2. You can set the amplitude and vibration times, and the vibration component swirls/spins at a small angle to ensure uniform material.
3. Automatically calculate and print test results, allowing two samples to be tested simultaneously.
4. Sample weight ≤ 500.00 g, sample volume ≤ 100.00 ml.
5. Single vibration times 0~ 99999 times, output Loose Bulk Density when setting 0 times.
6. The counting method is photoelectric induction, and the motor allows a torque of 0.86 N.m.
7. Vibration Frequency 0~ 300 rpm continuously adjustable, vibration amplitude up to 15mm integer adjustable.
8. Repeatability error ≤ 1%, accuracy error ≤ 1%.
9. Power supply voltage AC 220V (50Hz/60Hz), 40W.
Principle
The instrument drives the vibration component through the adjustable speed motor to vibrate the powder sample under the control of the microcomputer. The vibration component swirl/spin at a small angle to ensure the uniform vibration of the material. According to the set amplitude and vibration times, the Tapped Density is automatically calculated, and the test result is finally output through photoelectric induction counting.
Applications
Powder materials testing, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, materials science research
Standards
