Overview
Powder density refers to the mass corresponding to the unit volume of powder. Due to the existence of voids (or pores) between particles or inside particles in the powder, the density of the powder is usually less than the true density of the corresponding substance. Tapped Density refers to the density of the powder to be contained in the container after being vibrated under specified conditions. The HY-100C powder density tester is based on the national standard GB/T 5162-2006/ISO3953:1993 (Determination of Tapped Density of Metal Powders) and refers to the powder density testing instrument independently developed and manufactured by the US Pharmacopoeia. It has independent intellectual property rights. The instrument covers all the indicators in the national standard GB/T 5162-2006/ISO3953:1993.
Features
1. It is composed of adjustable-speed motors, vibration components, microcomputers, and micro-printers.
2. You can set the amplitude and vibration times by yourself.
3. During the vibration process, the vibration component swirls/spins at a small angle to ensure the uniformity of the material.
4. Automatically calculate and print out test results.
5. Three samples can be tested simultaneously.
Principle
Driven by a variable speed motor, the instrument vibrates the powder sample by setting the amplitude and vibration times. During the vibration process, the component swirls/spins at a small angle to ensure that the material is uniform, so as to measure the Tapped Density of the powder.
Applications
Metal powder, powder material
Standards
GB/T 5162-2006、ISO3953:1993
Steps
1. Set the amplitude and number of vibrations.
2. Place the sample and start the vibration.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and prints the results.
Notice
• The weight of the sample does not exceed 500.00 grams.
• The sample volume does not exceed 100.00 milliliters.
• The number of single vibrations can be set from 0 to 99999.
• Power supply voltage is AC 220V (50Hz/60Hz).
• Make sure the instrument is connected to the correct power supply before use.
