Overview
XHR-150DT Electric Plastic Rockwell Hardness Tester is an instrument specially used to test Non-metallic materials and softer metals under the SMTMF brand. It is suitable for hardness testing of plastics, hard rubber, synthetic resins, friction materials and other materials. It is easy to operate and has high Sensitivity and Stability. It is suitable for workshop and laboratory environments.
Features
1. Adopt automatic loading and unloading test force mechanism.
2. Illuminant, can clearly observe the test point.
3. Equipped with a potentiometer with adjustable total test force holding time.
4. The operation is simple and fast, with no artificial operation errors except for the dial to zero.
5. High Sensitivity and Stability.
Principle
The hardness gauge works based on the principle of rockwell hardness testing. By applying the specified initial test force and the main test force, the steel ball indenter of a specific specification is pressed into the surface of the sample. After removing the main test force, the corresponding rockwell hardness value is read directly on the dial according to the depth difference of the Crowd. Its automatic loading and unloading test force mechanism ensures the standardization of the testing process.
Applications
Plastics, hard rubber, synthetic resins, friction materials, softer metals
Steps
1. Select the appropriate ruler, indenter, and test force according to the sample.
2. Place the specimen on the test bench to ensure stability.
3. Turn on the power supply and use the external lighting Illuminant to clearly locate the test point.
4. Turn the knob to bring the indenter into contact with the sample and apply the initial test force to the zero disc.
5. Start the automatic loading and unloading test force mechanism, apply the main test force and maintain the set time (plastic test is usually 15 seconds).
6. After removing the main test force, read the Hardness value directly from the dial.
7. After the test is completed, remove the sample and turn off the power.
Notice
• Please read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
• Make sure the power supply is AC220V +/- 5%, 50~ 60Hz.
• Correctly select the Rockwell scale, test force and corresponding indenter according to the test material.
When testing plastics and other materials, the total test force holding time should be set to 15 seconds.
• The maximum height of the sample shall not exceed 170mm, and ensure that there is a sufficient distance from the center of the indenter to the fuselage (165mm).
• Regularly calibrate using standard Hardness blocks to ensure test accuracy.
When replacing the bulb, please use the instrument bulb with the specified specification (GY6-12A).
• When replacing the fuse, use a 0.5A (5x20) fuse.
• When the instrument is not in use, it is recommended to cover it with a dust-proof plastic cover.
When moving or handling, please pay attention to the weight of the main engine (85Kg) to avoid bumping.
