Overview
DeFelsko PosiTector ® CMM IS is an in-situ probe for the measurement of relative humidity and temperature on concrete floors. It is designed to easily capture and report relative humidity data on concrete floors according to the ASTM F2170 standard, and its Probe can be wirelessly connected via Bluetooth with a mobile app or advanced host, simplifying the measurement process.
Features
Simple operation: easy collection and reporting of RH measurements according to ASTM F2170; no need to open holes or remove the lid for measurement, Probe can work in place for up to three weeks; combination casing and Probe design to simplify installation, no consumables; use ordinary button batteries.
2. Accurate measurement: Fast Response accuracy Sensor provides accurate, repeatability readings; with calibrated inspection function, automatically determine whether the Probe reading is within the tolerance range; calibrated certificate can be traced back to NIST.
3. Rugged and durable: Probe is an intelligent Probe with repeatability; it has weatherproof performance against solvents, acids, oils, water and dust.
4. Powerful: quickly adapt to the environment, shorten the test time; blue LED indicator to confirm the power-on and broadcast status of the Probe; includes free PosiTector mobile app for data analytics and report generation.
5. Various reporting methods: Support data viewing, recording and generating professional PDF reports that meet ASTM F2170 requirements through PosiTector App (iOS/Android) or PosiTector DPM Advanced models.
Principle
The product directly measures the relative humidity and temperature in the hole by placing the Smart Probe (in-situ probe) into the borehole of the concrete floor. The Probe wirelessly transmits data via Bluetooth to the connected PosiTector mobile app or PosiTector DPM Advanced host, enabling real-time data acquisition, recording and reporting. The whole process follows the ASTM F2170 test method.
Applications
Concrete floor humidity detection, building mass assessment, moisture verification before floor laying
Steps
1. Drill holes in the concrete floor and install the combined casing and Probe according to the standard requirements.
2. After the Probe is installed, connect to the PosiTector App or PosiTector DPM Advanced host through Bluetooth.
3. Probe works stably in the hole, and data can be obtained remotely without opening the hole cover during this period.
4. Use supporting software to record measurement data, time, location and other information.
5. After the measurement is complete, use the extraction tool to remove the Probe, and the software can automatically generate a professional report containing all the necessary information.
Notice
• Make sure the Probe battery is fully charged before use.
• Follow the steps and requirements specified in the ASTM F2170 standard when installing the Probe.
• Probe is a precision instrument, please avoid violent impact or contact with strong corrosive substances.
• Regularly calibrate Probe with calibrated inspection chamber and saturated salt solution.
• Data report generation depends on the supporting software, please ensure that the mobile device or host is working properly.
