Principle
The Infrared Thermometer receives the infrared radiation energy emitted by the surface of the target object (Response wavelength is 2~ 14μm) in a non-contact manner, converts it into an electrical signal, and displays the corresponding temperature value on the display screen after processing. Users can adjust the emissivity value to match the radiation characteristics of different materials to improve Measurement accuracy.
Applications
Industrial manufacturing, equipment maintenance, building inspection, scientific research experiments, quality control, environment monitoring
Standards
Calibrated to NIST
Steps
1. Turn on the device power supply.
2. Use the button to activate the laser pointer and aim it at the target area to be measured.
3. Depending on the target material, select from the preset options or manually set the appropriate emissivity value.
4. Trigger the measurement and read the temperature value on the display.
5. Statistical scan mode can be used for continuous measurement and viewing statistics.
6. The stored data can be transferred or managed by connecting to the computer through the USB port.
Notice
• The laser pointer is Class 2 type (Power < 1mW), do not look directly at the laser beam.
• Ensure that the measurement surface is clean and unobstructed for accurate readings.
• Pay attention to the temperature measurement range of the equipment (-70~ 380 ° C) to avoid using it beyond the range.
• According to different material surface characteristics, set the emissivity value correctly.
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure that the device is working properly.
When storing data, pay attention to the data storage capacity limit of the device.
When updating the software, make sure the network connection is stable.
