Overview
The PRUT310 is an Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge from the IPRE brand for thickness measurement of metals (e.g. steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, etc.), plastics, ceramics, Glass and Miscellaneous ultrasonic conductors. The instrument features a high resolution display, multiple Calibration methods and data communication capabilities for accurate measurement of sheets, machined parts, and corrosion thinning monitoring of pipes and Pressure Vessels.

Principle
The instrument makes measurements based on the principle that ultrasound travels through a material at a constant speed. The thickness of the material is accurately determined by calculating the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the material by emitting ultrasonic waves and receiving them back.
