Overview
YUE FENG Model 755 UV-Visible Spectrophotometer is a powerful analytical instrument that uses imported tungsten lamps and deuterium lamps as light sources, with a service life of up to 2000 hours, and is equipped with a large sample chamber, which can accommodate Colorimetric dishes from 5mm to 100mm. The instrument supports one-button automatic correction of ABS values, and has an RS232 data output port, which can be connected to computers and printers.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of ultraviolet-visible Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry. The composite light emitted by the light source is separated by a monochromator (aberration grating) and becomes monochromatic light of a specific wavelength. When the monochromatic light passes through the sample solution, the substance to be tested selectively absorbs it, and the transmitted light signal is received by the Detector and converted into an electrical signal. After processing, it is displayed in the form of Absorbance (ABS) or light transmitance (% T), and the sample concentration can be calculated according to the standard Linear dispersion (C = FXABS mode).

Steps
1. Turn it on and warm up.
2. Select Measurement mode (e.g. ABS file).
3. Use a blank solution to zero the background.
4. Absorbance (ABS) measurement of known standard solutions.
5. Calculate the F value (F = C/ABS).
6. Under F, adjust the F value to the calculated value (F value range: 1-1999).
7. Switch to C file, measurement of unknown samples, directly read the concentration value.
8. Data output can be connected to a computer or printer through the RS232 port.
Notice
The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free workbench protected from direct sunlight.
