LANDTEK SRT-6210 Roughness Gauge is a portable surface roughness testing instrument used in production sites. It uses an inductive Sensor and is equipped with a diamond stylus to measure four parameters of Ra, Rz, Rq, and Rt. Measurement accuracy is not greater than +/- 10%. The instrument is equipped with a 10mm blue backlit LCD display, built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery, and has an automatic shutdown function to extend Battery life.

Principle

When SRT-6210 Roughness Gauge measurement, the Sensor is placed on the surface of the workpiece to be measured and driven by the internal drive mechanism to do constant speed sliding. The sharp diamond stylus built into the Sensor senses the surface profile, and its displacement causes the inductance of the Sensor inductance coil to change, which produces an analog signal proportional to asperity at the output of the phase sensitive rectifier. The signal is amplified and level converted into the data collection system, digitally filtered and parameter calculated by the DSP chip, and the final result is displayed on the LCD.
