Overview
The LANDTEK WTM-1000 Transmittance meter is a portable inspection instrument for the measurement of light transmitance or haze of parallel surface samples. The instrument uses an integrated probe and host design, is battery-powered, has a compact shape, a firm structure, and is easy to carry. Measurement range is 0~ 100%, resolution is 0.1%, LED light source, supports single or continuous measurement, and can be used through RS-232 data line for data output.

Principle
The instrument uses an LED light source to illuminate the tested sample, and calculates and displays the light transmitance or haze value of the sample by detecting the intensity of the light signal passing through the sample.

Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on.
2, according to the need for a key to calibrate.
3. Fit the instrument probe to the surface of the sample under test.
4. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode for measurement.
5. Read the measurement results on the display screen.
6. Data output can be connected to the computer via an RS-232 data cable.
Notice
• When measuring, ensure that the surface of the tested sample is parallel and the Film thickness is less than 10mm.
• Please use under operating conditions (temperature 0~ 50 ° C, humidity < 90%).
• Regularly check and replace batteries to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Keep the instrument probe clean to avoid scratches.
When connecting a computer, make sure to use the correct RS-232 data cable.
