Overview
RK bar model K303.10.7 is a Spreader tool designed for K303 Coaters to achieve precise, repeatability surface coatings on most substrates. Winding precision-drawn stainless steel wire onto a stainless steel rod to form a pattern with grooves of the same shape allows accurate control of wet film thickness. Coating thickness from 4 to 120μm is possible with a closed winding rod.

Principle
The RK bar forms a pattern with grooves of the same shape by wrapping a precision drawn stainless steel wire onto a stainless steel rod. The size of these grooves allows accurate control of wet film thickness. Coating thickness of 4 to 120 μm can be Spreader for closed wound rods, while higher thickness coatings of up to 500 μm can be Spreader for spiral wound rods.

Steps
1. Install the RK bar on the K303 Spreader
2. Prepare the substrate and place it in the Spreader area
3. Adjust Coater settings to ensure bar contact with substrate
4. Start the Coater for coating operation
5. Clean bar after finishing to maintain accuracy

• For use with K303 Coater only, do not use with Miscellaneous equipment
• Clean in time after use to avoid coating residues affecting accuracy
• Avoid collision or bending to prevent damage to the bar structure
• Keep drying during storage to prevent stainless steel rusting
