Overview
The YQH-500 wet-film roller Thickness gauge is a precision measuring instrument from the PUSHEN brand for the measurement of wet film thickness during coating operations. Coating thickness is critical for coating mass, too thick can lead to waste and coating cracking, and too thin cannot adequately cover the substrate, so timely thickness measurement is required when the coating is not curing.
Features
1. High-precision design, composed of three wheels, with a small diameter of the center wheel and a large diameter of the wheels on both sides
2. Easy to use, can be measured on flat and curved surfaces
3. Made of stainless steel, strong durability
4. Graduation is 25 μm, Measurement accuracy is high
5. Suitable for substrates that can only use Destructiveness Measurement mode
Principle
The Wet Film Wheel consists of three wheels, the diameter of the center wheel is small, and the diameter of the round wheels on both sides is large. When rolling the Wet Film Wheel along the wet-film surface during measurement, the center wheel will contact the film layer, and the scale where the contact point is located is the wet film thickness value.
Applications
Coatings, film thickness measurement
Standards
GB/T 13452.2、ISO 2808
Steps
1. Place the Wet Film Wheel on the surface of the wet-film to be tested
2. Roll the Wet Film Wheel along the wet-film surface
3. Observe the position where the center wheel contacts the film layer
4. Read the scale value corresponding to the contact point, which is the wet film thickness
Notice
• Wet Film Wheel clean and drying during measurement
When rolling, maintain a uniform speed to avoid jumping
• Keep your line of sight perpendicular to the scale when reading the scale
• Clean the instrument in time after use
• Avoid use after coating is completely cured
