Overview
DJH-D Electrolytic Thickness Gauge is a professional measurement equipment of COATTEST INSTRUMENT brand, which is mainly used for accurate measurement of platings thickness and multi-layer nickel potential difference. The instrument has been factory adjusted and can be calibrated with China platings Calibration plate.
Features
1. Wide range of measurement plating, including single-layer platings such as Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sn, Ag, Au, etc., multi-layer platings such as Cr/Ni/Cu and more than 10 combinations, and alloy platings such as NiP, ZnNi, SZn, SPb, etc
2. Supports a variety of metal substrates, including steel, copper and copper alloys, die-casting zinc, aluminum, etc
3. Optional p2.4mm, p1.7mm aperture probes to adapt to different testing requirements
4. Measurement range 0.03-50, resolution 0.01um, Indication Error ≤ 10%
5. Equipped with 126 * 64 point array LCD screen, clear display
6. Support custom single platings or multiple platings/matrix combination to select hotkeys, easy to operate
7. Sensitivity has been adjusted to the best state, no adjustment is required
8. The power supply supports AC 110V or 220V optional, suitable for use in different regions
Principle
Electrolytic Thickness Gauge measures platings thickness by electrolysis principle, using electrolysis solution to dissolve platings at a specific Current density, calculating platings thickness according to dissolving time and current. The instrument has been adjusted to the optimum Sensitivity state without additional adjustment.
Applications
Automobile Motorcycle Industry, Aerospace and Marine Industry, Bicycle Industry, Electronics Industry, Daily Hardware Industry, Sanitary Ware Industry, Plastic Eletroplating Industry, Neodymium-Iron-Boron Industry, Standard Parts Industry, Technical Supervision Department and Scientific Research Institutions
Standards
The instrument has been adjusted after leaving the factory. If you need platings Calibration plates, you need to buy them separately.
Steps
1. Connect the power supply (110V or 220V)
2. Select the appropriate aperture probe for installation
3. Turn on and select Measurement mode (single platings or multiple platings/matrix combination)
4. Contact the probe with the surface of the sample to be tested
5. Read the thickness measurement results on the LCD screen
6. To calibrate, use platings Calibration plates
Notice
• The instrument has been factory adjusted, no need to adjust Sensitivity
• Calibration plates for platings (US China)
• Power supply voltage (110V or 220V) matching before use
• Ensure that the probe is in full contact with the sample surface during measurement
• Calibrating operation must be carried out with Calibration plate
