Overview
The RJCS solvent rub tester is a PUSHEN brand device used to evaluate the solvent wipe performance of coatings. The solvent wipe resistance of coatings is assessed by measuring the number of wipes required for coating damage.

Principle
The device reciprocates wiping on the coating surface through the motor-driven grinding head, and uses the solvent to simulate the actual use conditions. According to the number of wipes required for coating damage, the solvent wiping performance of the coating is automatically evaluated.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample with a size of 200 x 70mm.
2. Set the friction load to 1000 +/- 10g.
3. Adjust Wipe Frequency to 20~ 60cpm range.
4. Set Wipe Travel to 120 +/- 5mm.
5. Start the device for wipe test.
6. Record the number of wipes when the coating is damaged.
7. Evaluate the coating performance according to the recorded results.
