Overview
The QHD pendulum damping tester is designed and manufactured according to the professional standard ZBN7 2020-86 and international standard ISO1522-1973. This instrument is suitable for sampling tests of Paints, varnish and related products to determine the film Hardness of Paints varnish and related products.
Features
1. In line with professional standards ZBN7 2020-86 and international standards ISO1522-1973;
2. Support Konig and Persoz swing bar types;
3. Equipped with a technical device that automatically records the number of swing angles.
4. The structure includes an instrument base, a swing rod, technical devices, and an instrument cover.
Principle
Film Hardness is expressed in seconds by the damping time of the swing rod on the paint film. It is based on the principle that when the swing rod in contact with the paint film surface swings at a certain period, the softer the surface, the faster the swing attenuation, and vice versa. There is no conversion relationship between the results of the Konig and Persoz swing rod tests of different structures, masses, sizes and cycles, because the interaction between the swing rod and the coating depends on the complex resilience and viscosity of the coating, so the product standard determines the damping time of a certain paint film. Only one swing rod is used.
Applications
Paints, varnishes and related products sampling
Standards

Steps
1. Place the test plate on the instrument holder.
2. Select and install the Konig or Persoz swing bar.
3. Start the swing rod to swing;
4. Automatically record the number of times the swing angle occurs.
5. Calculate the film Hardness according to the swing decay time.
Notice
There is no conversion relationship between the test results of the Konig and Persoz swings.
In the product standard, only one swing bar is required to determine the damping time of a certain paint film.
- Ensure that the swinging rod type, mass, period and other parameters meet the specifications.
