Overview
The LENETA Form P121-C standard board hiding power card is a control board for the measurement of paint scruf resistance. It is prepared by applying white latex paint preparatory to a black scruf test board, the film is stable, and the performance of each panel is basically consistent. It is used to calibrate the test grade to standardize the test results between different laboratories.
Features
1. Stable performance: The film is infinitely stable, and the performance of each panel is basically the same.
2. Calibrating standard: used as a control for the measurement of scruf resistance to obtain a calibrating grade.
3. Specifications are clear: Color is black test board surface Spreader white latex paint, Encasement is 3 pieces.
4. Good durability: with excellent scrub resistance, the number of cycles can reach 400 times.
Principle
This standard board is used as a calibrate reference. Calculate the performance percentage of the test panel relative to the calibrate panel by comparing the failure period or weight loss of the test panel with the calibrate panel (i.e. this product) under the same scruf method, i.e. the calibrate rating. The formula is: calibrate rating (%) = ( test panel failure period/calibrate panel failure period) × 100, or according to ASTM D 4213, calibrate grade = (calibrate panel weight loss/test panel weight loss) × 100.
Applications
Paint scrub resistance testing, laboratory performance calibrating
Steps
1. Place the standard board in the same scruf test equipment as the paint panel to be tested.
2. Use the same scruf method to synchronize or compare the standard board and test panel.
3. Record the failure period or weight loss of the standard plate (calibrated panel).
4. Record the failure cycle or weight loss of the test panel.
5. Calculate the calibrated rating or calibrated grade of the test panel according to the corresponding formula.
Notice
• This product is a standard board for calibrating and should be kept properly to avoid surface contamination or physical damage.
• When using, ensure that the test conditions (e.g. scruf method, medium) are consistent with the calibrating requirements.
• Calculation of calibrated grades is strictly based on the formula given in the product description or relevant standards (e.g. ASTM D 4213).
Be careful to distinguish between different calculation methods based on cycle failure and based on weight loss.
• Encasement contains 3 tablets, please use reasonably according to test requirements.
