Principle
The Glossiness Meter assesses Glossiness by measuring the intensity of reflected rays of light on the surface of a material. It irradiates the sample surface with Illuminants at specific angles (20 °, 60 °, 85 °) and detects reflected light, calculating Glossiness Units (GU) according to international standards. Automatic calibration and intelligent processing of the instrument ensure measurement accuracy and Repeatability.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Press the Automatic calibration button to calibrate.
3. Select the Measurement Angles according to the material Glossiness (20 ° for high Gloss, 60 ° for medium Gloss, and 85 ° for low Gloss).
4. Align the measurement port to the sample surface for measurement.
5. Read the Glossiness value on the display.
6. Single or Continuous Measurement mode can be selected.
7. Data can be stored or exported via USB/Bluetooth.
Notice
* Gloss materials such as paints, inks, plastics, and paper are recommended for 20 ° angle measurement.
* Gloss materials such as paints, inks, plastics, ceramics, marble are recommended for 60 ° angle measurement.
* Low Gloss materials such as low Gloss paint and camouflage coatings are recommended for 85 ° angle measurement.
* Operating temperature in the range of 0~ 40 ℃.
* The relative humidity should be less than 85% RH.
* Automatic calibration before use to ensure accuracy.
* Avoid use in strong light or extreme environments, so as not to affect the measurement results.
