Overview
The DONGRU DR280 paint film Coating thickness gauge is a split dual-function precision instrument that connects the host and the Probe through a cable to measure the nonmagnetic Coating thickness on the metal substrate and the nonconductive Coating thickness on the Non-metallic substrate. The instrument uses high-quality internal parts, reliable and stable measurement, and directly displays the data through the display screen. It is suitable for the measurement of the paint layer on the surface of all metal substrates. It can quickly measure the thickness nondestructive, and the measurement is accurate.

Principle
DONGRU DR280 paint film Coating thickness gauge adopts magnetic Induction + eddy Current Measurement principle, and uses different Measuring methods according to different metal substrates. For magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron), use magnetic thickness measurement method nondestructive measurement nonmagnetic coating thickness; for nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel), use eddy current thickness measurement method nondestructive measurement nonconductive coating thickness.

Steps
1. Connect Host and Probe
2. Measurement mode (continuous measurement or single measurement)

6. Read the measurement data on the display
7. You can choose to store data or view statistical functions
8. Manual or automatic shutdown after use

• The instrument is a precision instrument and needs to be handled with care to avoid violent vibration
• Probe in full contact with the measurement surface during measurement
• Operating temperature (0~ 60 ℃) and Humidity (20~ 90% RH)
• Minimum radius of curvature measurement: convex 5mm, concave 25mm
• The thinnest substrate thickness is 0.4mm.
• Minimum measurement surface diameter is φ 16mm
• Periodically calibrated to ensure Measurement accuracy
• Please remove the battery when not in use for a long time
• Avoid use in a strong magnetic field environment
