Principle
According to the geometrical optics conditions specified in the standard, the Gloss Meter projects a beam of light to the measured surface at a 60 ° incident angle, receives its mirror-reflected light, and quantifies the reflected light intensity to the gloss value (GU) through photoelectric conversion and signal processing, so as to realize the objective measurement of the material surface Gloss.

Steps
1. Load one AA alkaline or rechargeable battery.
2. Press the power button to turn it on.
3. The instrument measurement port is vertically and tightly attached to the surface of the measured object.
4. Press the measurement button for measurement and read the gloss value on the display screen.
Notice
* Before measurement, make sure the instrument has been calibrated using a standard plate.
* When measuring, it is necessary to keep the measurement port of the instrument vertical and close to the measured surface to avoid light leakage affecting the results.
* Do not use the measuring port to scrape the surface of the tested object to prevent coating damage.
When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
* Do not use and store in strong electromagnetic interference, high temperature, high humidity or corrosive gas environment.
