Film thickness measurement
1. Install the battery and connect the Probe. 2. Turn it on, set the sound speed according to the measured material or use the calibrating base that comes with the instrument to calibrate. 3. Vertically and stably couple the Probe to the surface of the tested object. 4. Select the appropriate measurement mode (e.g. standard, maximum, minimum, differential, average or high temperature mode). 5. Read the Film thickness data displayed on the LCD screen. 6. Use the data saving function to store the measurement results in groups as needed.
• Make sure that the Probe is well coupled to the measured surface during measurement. • Probe contact temperature range is -10~ 50 ℃, beyond this range need to use special high temperature Probe (up to 300 ℃). • When measuring pipes, the lower limit is φ 15 * 1.0mm. • When crossing the coating measurement, the coating thickness range should be between 3mm and 20mm. • If you need to measure coarse grain materials such as gray cast iron, you need to buy a special coarse crystal Probe. When not in use for a long time, remove the battery.
