Overview
The LEEB leeb270 Coating thickness gauge is a High Accuracy measuring instrument for fast, non-destructive and precise coating and platings thickness measurement. The instrument can be used in both laboratories and engineering sites, and can meet a variety of measurement needs by adapting different probes.
Features
1. Full Chinese menu interface operation, simple and convenient.
2. The magnetic thickness measurement method can be used for nondestructive measurement of the thickness of the nonmagnetic coating on the magnetic metal substrate.
3. Measurement modes of continuous measurement and single measurement.
4. It has two working modes: direct mode and group mode.
5. There are five statistics: average, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, number of tests, and Standard Deviation.
6. Calibration methods include basic zero correction and five-piece calibrating.
7. With storage function, 1560 Measured values can be stored.
8. With deletion function, suspicious data or all stored data can be deleted.
9. The limit can be set, and the Measured value outside the limit can be automatically alarmed.
10. There is a beep prompt during the operation.
11. There is a bright LED backlight display, which is convenient to use in a gray environment with rays of light.
12. There are two shutdown methods: manual shutdown and automatic shutdown.
Principle
Based on the principle of magnetic Induction, this instrument can nondestructive measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic coating on magnetic metal substrate.
Applications
Manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields
Standards
GB/T 4956-1985 Magnetic metal substrate nonmagnetic coating thickness measurement, magnetic method, JB/T 8393-1996 magnetic coating thickness measurement instrument, JJG 889-95 Magnetoresistive thickness gauge
Steps
1. Select Continuous Measurement mode or Single Measurement mode according to measurement requirements.
2. Choose direct working mode or group working mode according to measurement requirements.
3. Instrument calibrated before use (basic zero or five test pieces calibrated).
4. Place the probe on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement.
5. View measurement results and statistics (such as average, MAX Maximum, etc.).
6. Optionally store measurement data or manage the data (e.g. delete).
7. After the measurement is completed, you can choose to shut down manually or wait for automatic shutdown.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for the measurement of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates.
• Measurement should be calibrated according to the standard before measurement to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Pay attention to the minimum measurement surface, minimum radius of curvature and thinnest substrate requirements of the instrument.
• Please use within the specified working Ambient Temperature (0~ 40 ℃) and Humidity (20~ 90% RH) range.
• Keep the instrument properly after use to avoid severe impact or humid environment.
When the battery is low, the battery should be replaced in time to ensure normal use.
