Overview
The Yongchao wire-wound drawdown bar 240mm set is a formed film bar containing a bar and a handle. The bar is made of 304 stainless steel with chrome plating on the surface and Hardness up to 1300HV, which has excellent Abrasion Resistance and service life. The set is manufactured by cold extrusion process and has the advantages of unbroken wire and easy cleaning. The outer Encasement is a hard plastic transparent tube with a black soft rubber cover. The total length of the wire rod is 240mm, the application width is 210mm, and there are 15mm hand-held parts at each end. It is suitable for coatings, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemical and other industries.
Features
1. Made of 304 stainless steel, chrome-plated surface, Hardness up to 1300HV, wear-resistant and durable.
2. Made by cold extrusion process, the wire is continuous and easy to clean.
3. Set includes bar and handle, easy to use.
4. Encasement is a hard plastic transparent tube with black soft rubber lid at both ends for easy storage and protection.
Principle
This product is a formed film bar. When used, an appropriate amount of paint is placed on the substrate, and by holding the bar handle, it scrapes the surface of the paint with uniform pressure and speed. The precision wire gap wound on the bar determines the thickness of the wet-film, thus forming a uniform thickness and controllable coating on the substrate.
Applications
Paints, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemicals
Steps
1. Place the substrate to be Spreader flat.
2. Take an appropriate amount of paint and place it on one end of the substrate.
3. Install the bar into the handle to ensure that it is firmly fixed.
4. Hold the handle and place the wire end of the bar vertically in front of the paint.
5. Apply uniform pressure and scrape the bar across the paint area at a smooth and uniform speed (recommended speed of about 10cm/s) to complete the Spreader.
6. After use, clean the bar with a suitable solvent in time, and store it in the protective tube after drying.
Notice
• Before use, check whether the bar is clean, drying, and whether the wire is damaged or loose.
• Spreader to maintain uniform speed and steady pressure to ensure uniform film thickness.
• Please clean the bar thoroughly with a suitable solvent (such as corresponding paint thinners) immediately after use to prevent the coating from curing.
• Please use a soft cloth or brush when cleaning to avoid scratching the surface of the bar.
• Do not use bars on grinding materials that exceed their Hardness Range.
• When storing, please put the clean drying bar back into the original protective tube to avoid bumping and extrusion.
