Overview
YONGCHAOMT D10-YC030-L240mm (Set) Spreader Metering rod is a formed film bar made of 304 stainless steel with chrome plating and Hardness up to 1300HV for Abrasion Resistance and service life. The set contains a bar and a handle, and the outer Encasement is a hard plastic transparent tube. The total length of the bar is 240mm, and the application width is 210mm. It is suitable for coatings, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemical and other industries.

Principle
This product is a formed Spreader Metering rod, by placing the liquid to be Spreader on the substrate, using bar to scrape at a certain pressure and speed, the steel wire gap wound on the bar determines the thickness of the wet-film, thereby forming a uniform layer on the surface of the substrate, thickness controllable coating.

Steps
1. Place the sample to be Spreader on a flat substrate.
2. Place the Spreader Metering rod at the starting end of the sample.
3. Apply uniform pressure to scrape the bar across the entire application width at a smooth speed.
4. Lift the bar and complete the Spreader.
5. Clean the bar with a suitable solvent in time after use.
Notice
• Make sure the bar is clean, drying and free of residue before use.
• Apply uniform pressure and maintain uniform speed during operation to ensure uniform film thickness.
• Wash thoroughly with a suitable solvent immediately after use to prevent sample curing on the bar.
• Do not use hard objects to scratch the surface of the bar to avoid damaging the chrome plating.
• Please put it back in the original Encasement tube when storing to avoid bumping and deformation.
