Overview
YONGCHAOMT D10-YC150-L240mm (set) is a gravure coating Metering rod, the set contains a bar and a handle. The product is made of 304 stainless steel, with chrome plating on the surface, Hardness up to 1300HV, and has excellent Abrasion Resistance and service life. The bar is manufactured by cold extrusion process, which has the advantages of unbroken wire and easy cleaning. The outer Encasement of the product is a hard plastic transparent tube with black soft rubber lid at both ends. The total length of the bar is 240mm, the application width is 210mm, and there are 15mm hand grips at each end. It is suitable for coatings, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemical and other industries.
Features
1. Made of 304 stainless steel, chrome-plated surface, Hardness up to 1300HV, wear-resistant and durable.
2. Made by cold extrusion process, bar unbroken wire, easy to clean.
3. Set includes bar and handle, easy to use.
4. Encasement for hard plastic transparent tube, two ends with soft rubber lid, easy to carry and store.
Principle
The product is a formed film bar (Applicator rod). By placing paint, inks and other liquids on the substrate and using bar to scrape at a certain pressure and speed, the steel wire or groove wound on the bar can precisely control the wet film thickness left on the substrate, so as to achieve a uniform, Basis Weight Spreader.
Applications
Paints, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemicals
Steps
1. Pour the liquid to be Spreader evenly over one end or front of the substrate.
2. Hold the bar handle and place the winding or grooved part of the bar behind the liquid.
3. With a uniform speed and appropriate pressure, scrape the bar smoothly towards the other end of the substrate.
4. After Spreader is completed, clean the bar with a suitable solvent in time.
Notice
• Make sure the bar is clean and drying without residue before use.
• Spreaders need to maintain uniform speed and pressure stability to ensure uniform film thickness.
• Thoroughly clean with a suitable solvent immediately after use to prevent coating curing from clogging the bar gap.
• Please use a soft cloth or brush when cleaning to avoid scratching with hard objects and damaging the surface of the bar.
• When storing, please put it back in the original Encasement tube and place it in a drying environment to avoid bumping.
