Overview
The China film Proofing rod set contains a 240mm long film wire-wound drawdown bar and a handle. The bar diameter is 10mm, the application width is 210mm, and there are 15mm hand-held parts at each end. The product is made of 304 stainless steel, with chrome plating on the surface, Hardness up to 1300HV, which has the characteristics of wear resistance and long life. The cold extrusion process is used, which has the advantages of continuous wire and easy cleaning. The outer Encasement is a hard plastic transparent tube with a black soft rubber cover.
Features
1. Made of 304 stainless steel, chrome-plated surface, Hardness up to 1300HV, wear-resistant and durable.
2. Adopt cold extrusion process, bar unbroken wire, easy to clean.
3. Set includes bar and handle, easy to use.
4. Encasement is hard plastic transparent tube with black soft rubber lid for easy storage and protection.
Principle
The Spreader Metering rod precisely controls the thickness of the wet-film coating when scraping on a flat substrate through its surface-precision wire-wound structure. When in use, the paint is placed in front of the bar and pushed at a uniform speed and pressure. Excess paint will be scraped off by the bar, leaving a uniform wet-film with a set thickness.
Applications
Paints, inks, paints, Gloss oil, chemicals
Steps
1. Place the substrate to be Spreader flat.
2. Pour an appropriate amount of paint on the substrate in front of the bar.
3. Install the handle on the bar, hold the handle, and push the bar across the painted area at a uniform speed and with appropriate pressure.
4. After the scraping is completed, clean the bar with a suitable solvent in time.
Notice
• Make sure the bar is clean, drying and free of residue before use.
• Maintain uniform speed and pressure when scraping to ensure uniform film thickness.
• Thoroughly clean with a suitable solvent immediately after use to prevent coating curing.
• Do not use hard objects to scrape the surface of the bar to avoid damaging the wire-wound structure.
Store in a drying place to avoid bumping.
