Overview
The HUXI UP-250 portable ultrasonic crushing instrument is a multi-functional, multi-purpose instrument that uses ultrasonic waves to produce cavitation effect in liquids. It is suitable for crushing animal and plant cells, virus cells, as well as emulsification, separation, extraction, defoaming, degassing, cleaning and accelerating chemical reactions. The instrument adopts LCD display, supports automatic and manual (foot pedal) Operating Mode, can set ultrasonic time and power, and has functions such as sample temperature detection display and frequency automatic tracking. It is specially designed for small volume Sample Handling.

Principle
The portable ultrasonic crushing instrument uses ultrasonic waves to generate cavitation effect in the liquid, and forms tiny bubbles in the sample through high-frequency vibration (frequency range 20-30KHz). Impact waves are generated when these bubbles burst, thereby crushing cells, emulsification, separation or accelerating chemical reactions. The instrument automatically tracks the ultrasonic time, power and frequency through a central microcomputer to ensure efficient processing.

Steps
Connect the power supply (220V/110V, 50Hz/60Hz).
2. Select Operating Mode (Automatic or Manual/Pedal).
3. Set the ultrasound time (0.1-99), gap time (0.1-99) and total time (1-99H59M59S).
4. Set power (2.5-250 W continuously adjustable) and duty cycle (0.1-99%).
5. Dip the horn into the sample liquid and start the instrument.
6. Monitor sample temperature and instrument status, and deal with any alarms promptly.
Notice
• Make sure the horn is fully immersed in the liquid before use to avoid no-load damage.
• Pay attention to power and temperature settings to prevent sample overheating.
• Regularly check the instrument fault alarm function to ensure safe operation.
