Overview
The NIRUN STM-2T digital Stormer Viscometer is a test instrument used to determine the viscosity of paints, coatings, inks and other materials, expressed in KU value. The technical specifications of this model cover the STM-1 to STM-4 models on the market and comply with international standards ASTM D562 and GB9269.
Features
1.5 inch Touchscreen, easy to operate, rich display information
2. Anti-static shell and PC lifting rod design
3. Standard RTD Temperature Probe
4. ARM chip processor, fast data processing speed
5. Simplified test procedure without weight and pulley
6. Manual lift frame structure, reducing test liquid level control requirements
7. Stepper motor direct drive, no gear, accurate speed
8. Lockable viscosity value, KU value, load value, temperature value
9. The viscosity value shows continuous change
10. With automatic test data output print port
11. Computer full-scale linear correction
12. AC Power Adapter 100V-240V, good anti-interference
Principle
The instrument directly drives the swirl/spin part through a stepper motor, swirl/spin at a constant speed of 200rpm, measures the resistance generated by the sample, and converts it into KU value, Grammage or Centipoise value display. The ARM chip is used to quickly process the data for accurate viscosity measurement.
Applications
Paints, paints, inks
Standards
ASTM D562、GB9269
Steps
1. Connect the Power Adapter
2. Pack the sample into a 1 pint container
3. Use the knob lifting device to adjust the measurement position
4. Set parameters through Touchscreen
5. Start the measurement program
6. Read and lock the displayed viscosity value, KU value, load value or temperature value
7. Test data can be output through the print port
Notice
• Power frequency within 100V-240V range before use
• Pack samples strictly according to 1pint container specifications
Maintain a stable test environment to avoid electromagnetic interference
• Periodic instrument calibration
• Avoid use in humid or static environments
• Pay attention to the smooth adjustment of the lifting device during operation
