Overview
TEELEN 4XI Metallurgical Microscopy is used to identify and analyze the microstructure of various metals and alloys. It is widely used in factories or laboratories for the identification of casting mass, the inspection of raw materials or the analysis of metallographic structure after material treatment, and the study of surface phenomena such as surface lame plating. This instrument can be used with a photographic device for microscopy.

Principle
Metallurgical Microscopy magnifies the microstructure of metal and alloy materials through an Optical inspection system, using a combination of objective and eyepiece to achieve high-magnification observation, and provides uniform illumination with an illumination system to clearly display the internal structure of the material.
Applications
Factory, laboratory
Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it on the stage
2. Turn on the lighting system (6V/12W bromine tungsten lamp)
3. Use the coarse fine focus knob for initial focus adjustment
4. Use the fretting focusing knob for fine focusing, the adjustment range is 7mm, and the scale value is 0.002mm.
5. Replace the objective lens (10X, 40X, 100Xoil) or eyepiece (10X, 12.5X) as needed to adjust the magnification
6. Observe and analyze the metallographic structure
7. Optional photography device for microscopy
Notice
• Use oil immersion when using 100Xoil objectives
• Avoid violent vibration during operation to protect Optical inspection components
• Regularly clean the lens to keep the imagery clear
• Photographic eyepieces 5X and 6.3X are optional and need to be configured separately.
