Principle
The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is based on the principle of ultrasonic propagation, transmits and receives ultrasonic signals through Probe, and calculates material thickness using microprocessor technology. It can adapt to different Frequency Probes for accurate measurement of various material surfaces.
Applications
Thickness measurement and corrosion measurement of boiler storage tanks, pipes, pipes, plates, forgings, flanges, hulls, decks, tracks, machined parts, etc. in petrochemical industry, shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, power station, and machine manufacturing
Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on
2. Select the Probe Connection
3. Apply coupling agent to the measurement surface
4. Fit the Probe to the Tested Surface
5. Read the thickness value on the display
6. Data can be output via RS-232C or Bluetooth
7. Manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown after use
Notice
* Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃
* Operating Relative Humidity should be less than 85% RH
* Make sure the battery is fully charged before use, and pay attention to the low voltage prompt
* Probe should be well coupled with the measured surface during measurement
* Different materials need to set the corresponding Speed of sound value
* High temperature measurement requires high temperature Sensor
* Special Sensor for small diameter measurement
Avoid strong impact or vibration of the instrument
