Principle

The product is a wire-wound Metering rod and its Working Principle is based on the "Mayer rod coating method". Uniform cavities are formed between the wires by tightly wrapping wires of a specific diameter on the stainless steel mandrel. As the Coating flows through these cavities, excess Coating is scraped off, resulting in a uniform wet-film on the substrate with a thickness determined by the diameter of the wire (i.e. rod number).
