Principle
The Working Principle of the RDS Wirewound Applicator rod is based on the classic Mayer rod coating method. When the coating flows through the wire tightly wound on the mandrel, the gap (cavity) between the wires determines the wet film thickness of the final Spreader to the substrate. By controlling the pressure of the rod body on the substrate or the tension of the substrate, the Basis Weight Coating can be evenly transferred to the surface of various substrates such as paper and film.

Steps
