Overview
RDS 50 #L2000φ 10 is a wire-wound Applicator rod produced by RDS Company in the United States, which belongs to the classic "Mayer" rod type. The product adopts the wire-wound production process. The mandrel is made of stainless steel 303, the surface is chrome plated, the total length is 2000mm, the effective application width is 1900mm, and it can provide a wet film thickness of about 127.0μm. RDS has more than 80 years of experience in R & D and production of coating rods. Its products are favored by the market for Spreader's simplicity, accuracy, uniformity, economy and wide applicability.
Features
1. Derived from the American RDS brand with a history of more than 80 years, with reliable quality.
2. Adopting the classic wirewound rod ("Mayer" rod) design, the technology is mature and widely used.
3. The mandrel is made of stainless steel 303, which is sturdy and durable. The surface chrome plating process can significantly extend the service life.
4. Customization is supported, and solutions of different specifications can be provided according to specific needs.
5. Wire winding rod design allows for disbonding and re-winding, helping to save costs and reduce waste.
Principle
The Working Principle of the Wire Winding Bar is based on the Measurement Spreader. The stainless steel wires are wound around the mandrel at precise intervals, and the voids (grooves) between the wires determine the amount of coating (wet film thickness) that the Spreader will apply to the substrate. As the coating flows through the rod body, the excess coating is scraped off by the wire, and the coating retained in the groove is transferred to the substrate, resulting in a uniform, thickness-controlled coating.
Applications
Coating, window film, adhesive tape, release paper, photovoltaic film, wall covering material, special paper
