Overview
The solvent resistance tester (model RJCS) is a professional equipment for measuring the solvent resistance of coatings. The instrument reciprocates on the surface of the sample by wiping the head with a certain speed and wiping pressure, and the number of wipes is directly read by the counter, and the solvent resistance performance is evaluated according to the number of times required for coating damage. Execution standard GB/T23989.
Features
1. Equipped with a counter to directly read the number of wipes
2. Adjustable wiping speed (0-60 times/minute)
3. Precise control of wiping pressure (0.06Mpa)
4. Automatic stop function, automatic stop after reaching the predetermined number of times
5. Easy to operate, supports continued work after shutdown
Principle
The instrument uses the absorbentcottonph of the wiping head parcel solvent wetting to perform reciprocating wiping motion on the surface of the sample at a set speed and pressure. The number of wipes is recorded by the counter. When the coating is damaged, the solvent wiping performance of the coating is evaluated according to the required number of wipes.
Steps
1. Unscrew the sample fixture bolt, place the 75 × 200mm sample and tighten the bolt
2. Wipe the surface of the head with absorbentcottonph parcel, put in the cuff and tighten the screws, fill the inner cavity with absorbentcottonph and drip in the solvent
3. Turn on the power supply and set the number and speed of wiping (60 times/min is recommended)
4. Turn on the power switch to start working, automatically stop after the number of arrivals, and remove the sample for observation
5. During operation, the switch can be turned off to pause, and it can be reopened to continue.
6. After automatically stopping, press the "clear" button to run again.
Notice
• Specimen size must be 200 x 75mm
• Absorbentcottonph should be parcelled and solvent wetting
• The recommended wiping speed is 60 times/min
• The power switch can be directly turned off and suspended during operation
• Press the "reset" button before running again
• Pay attention to safe use of electricity during operation
