Overview
LS221 Coating thickness gauge is a professional measuring instrument of LINSHANG brand, which can be used to measure the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings such as coatings, varnishes, enamels, chromium, and galvanizing on ferromagnetic metal substrates such as steel, and nonmagnetic coatings such as coatings, anodic oxidation layers, or film thickness of Pottery and porcelain on nonmagnetic metal substrates such as copper, aluminum, die-cast zinc, and brass. It is mostly used for the detection of film thickness of car paint. The instrument adopts the design of host and Probe split, and is connected through an extension cable. It is easy to use. There is no need to calibrate and only need to adjust zero.
Features
1. Adopt Ruby Probe, with corrosion resistance and wear resistance performance, to ensure long-term effective use of the instrument
2. No need to calibrate, just adjust zero, simple operation
3. Fast measurement, 0.5 seconds to complete a measurement
4. With temperature compensation function and analog signal terminal digitalization function to ensure the stability of Sensor signal
5. Probe can automatically identify the measurement matrix, fast automatic conversion
6. With iron-based measurement (Fe), non-iron-based measurement (NFe) and automatic identification (Fe/NFe) three measurement modes
Principle
The LS221 Film thickness meter is based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current for measurement, which can automatically identify ferromagnetic or nonmagnetic metal substrates, and accordingly use the magnetic method or eddy current method to determine the Film thickness of nonmagnetic or nonconductive coatings.
Applications
Film thickness measurement, varnishes Film thickness measurement, enamel Film thickness measurement, chromium Film thickness measurement, galvanized Film thickness measurement, anodic oxidation Film thickness measurement, Pottery and porcelain coatings thickness measurement
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2808、JJG-818-2005、GB/T 4956-2003、GB/T 4957-2003
Steps
1. Power on the instrument
2. Select the measurement mode as needed (iron-based measurement, non-iron-based measurement or automatic identification mode)
3. Zero the substrate
4. Probe placed on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement
5. Read Film thickness values on the display
Notice
• Make sure the substrate surface is clean and drying before measurement
• Zero operation should be carried out on a substrate without coating
• Probe should be vertically attached to the measured surface during measurement
• Avoid use in strong magnetic fields or high temperature environments
• Probe abrasion checked regularly
• Turn off the power in time after use to save power
